MailPress Privacy Policy
The short version: your email never leaves your browser. MailPress converts emails to PDF entirely on your device. Our servers only ever see your account identity (the email address you sign in with), your export counter, and your subscription status — never the content of your mail.
What MailPress does
MailPress is a browser extension that exports emails from Gmail as PDF documents. Reading the email you choose to export, converting it to a PDF, and saving that PDF all happen locally, inside your browser. Email content, subject lines, sender names, attachments, and generated PDFs are not transmitted to, stored on, or readable by our servers.

We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind: no usage analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cookies on this site, and no tracking pixels in the extension.
Payments
Payments for MailPress Pro are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's pages and are never seen or stored by us. We receive from Stripe only your subscription status.
Google Drive (optional)
If — and only if — you enable Drive upload, MailPress asks Google for the drive.file permission. This is Google's narrowest Drive scope: it grants access solely to files and folders that MailPress itself creates. We cannot see, list, or read anything else in your Drive. Uploads go directly from your browser to Google; the PDFs never pass through our servers. The Drive access token is held in your browser and is not sent to us. You can revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
MailPress's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
What we never do
- We never read, store, or transmit the content of your emails.
- We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We never share your data with third parties, except the service providers named above (Supabase for account storage, Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and optional Drive upload) acting on our instructions.
- We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness assessment.
Data retention and deletion
Account data (identity, export counter, subscription status) is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@pixture.dev from the address you signed up with — we will delete it within 30 days and confirm. Settings stored in your browser are removed when you uninstall the extension.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, or object to its processing, by contacting support@pixture.dev. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, these rights are provided under the GDPR, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children
MailPress is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes that expand what we collect will be announced in the extension before they take effect.
